This site was designed by Walter Wimberly through his company, Walt Design and Development, for a couple of reasons.
- As a freelance and remote web developer who is looking for new opportunities, I needed to have a way to demonstrate my skills in JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and Bootstrap. Most of what I’ve worked on the last 10+ years is hidden behind corporate firewalls. So now I can demonstrate some of what I’ve been doing.
- To help those who are confused by what makes a good password, and how to pick a strong password. Too many people use poor passwords, and are left vulnerable to hacking. Hopefully this will help fix some of those issues.
- To help demystify some of the information out there by breaking it down into easy to understand bite sized chunks. In addition to corporate web development, I’ve also been a teacher, both in different colleges and corporate training. Over the years I’ve learned how to teach technical concepts to non-technical people. Hopefully, this information will help you.
